We bought our dream home in Kaneohe in October of 2022, with Fiona Weisenberg as our agent. We are located in California, so we bought the house sight unseen. Fiona was our eyes and ears on the ground.
She worked diligently on our behalf to coordinate between the loan broker, escrow, all of the inspections such as house, roof, termite and air conditioning. Not to mention, the behind the scene negotiations between the selling agent, and the selling company who was selling the house for the out-of-state sellers.
She worked tirelessly and I would get emails at 4:00 A.M. Hawaii time, with details of upcoming events or results of the previous day’s progress.
She was on top of the desired closing time (Oct. 6) and we met the deadline with room to spare.
She has excellent contacts in the Loan Brokerage arena, as well as local experts on roofing, termite inspector and air conditioning.
She did a lot of investigations on our behalf regarding flood zone, and other hazard conditions.
She displayed excellent communication skills, with all parties involved such as the important coordination between Loan origination and escrow. Phone calls, text messages and emails kept us abreast of any issues and progress. I cannot emphasize how important that was in order to close on schedule.
Lastly, she is a genuine nice person, no pressure, patient and thoughtful. When the day that we got the keys (the wife and I flew to Hawaii) arrived, when we went inside, she had prepared a welcome gift of Ted’s pies, mugs, bottled water, a beautiful Greeting card and other goodies.
